SIOUX CITY GHOSTS BALLCAP BY MOSSY OAK X EBBETS FIELD
History: Drawn from the hardwoods of Mississippi, Mossy Oak’s Bottomland pattern pioneered a naturalistic approach to camouflage — using muted tones, photo-real textures, and a natural depth to blend the human outline seamlessly into the surrounding woods. They provided the custom fabric for this collaboration, recasting their iconic camo in a classic wool blend fabric, which we then used to give some of our fan-favorite hats a special design flip.
What started as a boys club in a historically Black neighborhood in Sioux City, Iowa evolved into a barnstorming fast-pitch softball team that toured all over the nation. Along with teams like the Harlem Globetrotters, their skill and showmanship made them a top attraction during the Great Depression, and they earned a permanent spot in Sioux City’s history books.
